TV film stars Donna Mills as a reporter Nicky Wells, who is preoccupied by terrorism questions. Most of all she is interested in an imperceptible Arabian terrorist, Abu Nayef. In Amsterdam Nicky gets acquainted with a brilliant Aristocrat, Charles Deveraux (Derek). He is a charming, handsome man with graceful manners. Nicky falls in love with him, and he proposes marriage to her. But Charles perishes the day before to their wedding. She cannot forget him, though a popular photographer Clee Donovan (Stephen Collins) persistently courts her. U nexpectedly Nicky finds Charles in the TV news as a witness of an act of terrorism. She begins searching for him. Gradually she finds out that Charles is involved in the terrorist organization of Abu Nayef. She receives a message from Charles and decides to meet with him. Clee and the people from the committee against terrorism conduct supervision. But Nicky is kidnapped and brought to Charles' place. There Nicky learns that actually Charles Deveraux is the ruthless terrorist Abu Nayef. He had become acquainted with Nicky to clarify what she had known of Abu Nayef. Now Abu wants to strike his next act of terrorism at the conference on the Near East. With the Nicky's help he succeeds in carrying a bomb in the boardroom as a TV camera. But when he sets the timer and is going to leave the room, Nicky takes the bomb, runs out from the boardroom and throws the bomb into the channel. A friend of Charles' mother, who has watched him for a long time, kills Charles. Nicky finds her real happiness with the popular photographer. | |
