Video Clip

"China Beach" was a short-lived TV series. But it has many loyal fans. They are looking for episodes on video (including me) and engage in newsgroups. There are some sites, including the official site of Dana Delany who stars as Colleen McMurphy. The TV series was devoted to the Vietnamese war. Derek de Lint played a French doctor, Bernard. He was married to a Vietnamese woman and he had had two children by her, which he adores. His wife had gone mad after the death of a child. He had a love affair with Dana Delany's character.

The director of the two de Lint episodes is Mimi Leder. About ten years later Derek de Lint was in a little bitty scene in "Deep Impact", directed by Mimi Leder.
